How to Achieve the Ideal Illumination
In the morning.
Slowly increase light level at the start of the day light and switch them on. First on top, then side ceiling and side wall. If local regulations allow, leave the litter light switched off.
In the evening.
Dim down the lighting under the system, and then turn it off. Then dim down the lights at the side wall, side ceiling, and passage way. Approx. 25 – 30 min later dim slowly and turn it off.
The top light, above the system is the last one to be dimmed down.
In order to encourage the birds to move up to the top of the system.
Note:
Dim the lights if there is danger of cannibalism or feather picking.
It is always better to dim the lights than to turn off the individual lights.
